Terms of Service

Last updated: March 10, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Staq, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Staq is an internal tool available exclusively to users with a verified @zluri.com email address. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

Staq is an AI-powered slide generation platform. Users provide content or a topic, and the platform generates fully designed slide images with text, presenter notes, branding, and export capabilities. The service uses Google's Gemini AI models for content generation and image rendering.

3. Account & Access

Access requires authentication via Google OAuth with a @zluri.com email address. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Do not share your session or allow others to use your authenticated session.

Zluri reserves the right to suspend or revoke access to Staq at any time, for any reason, including violation of these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

When using Staq, you agree not to:

  • Submit confidential third-party data without proper authorization
  • Attempt to bypass authentication, access controls, or rate limits
  • Use the service to generate illegal, harmful, or misleading content
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from Staq for unauthorized purposes
  • Share API keys or authentication credentials with unauthorized parties

5. AI-Generated Content

No guarantee of accuracy. Content generated by Staq's AI models (text, images, layouts, and presenter notes) is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, factually correct, or free from bias. AI-generated content may contain errors, hallucinations, or inappropriate material.

User responsibility. You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing all AI-generated content before using it in presentations, sharing it externally, or relying on it for any purpose. Do not present AI-generated content as verified fact without independent confirmation.

No professional advice. AI-generated content does not constitute professional, legal, financial, or medical advice.

6. Intellectual Property

Your content. You retain ownership of all content you input into Staq. You also own the exported output (PPTX, PDF) generated from your content, subject to any applicable third-party terms (such as Google's Gemini API terms).

Platform. The Staq platform, including its design, code, built-in themes, and architecture, is proprietary to Zluri. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the platform itself.

7. Limitation of Liability

Staq is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or uninterrupted service.

Staq and Zluri are not liable for:

  • Inaccuracies in AI-generated content or images
  • Loss of data due to browser storage being cleared, device loss, or browser updates
  • Third-party service outages (Google Gemini API, Google OAuth)
  • Decisions made based on AI-generated content

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of Staq is also governed by our Privacy Policy. All user content is stored client-side in your browser. Staq does not maintain a server-side database of user content.

You are responsible for exporting and backing up important decks. Clearing browser data will permanently remove all locally stored content.

9. Third-Party Services

Staq integrates with Google OAuth (authentication) and Google Gemini API (AI content and image generation). Your use of these services is subject to Google's terms of service and privacy policies, including:

  • Google Terms of Service
  • Google Generative AI Additional Terms of Service
  • Google API Services User Data Policy

Zluri is not liable for changes, outages, or policy modifications by third-party service providers.

10. Termination

You may stop using Staq at any time. Your locally stored data remains on your device until you clear it.

Upon departure from Zluri, your @zluri.com account will be deactivated, revoking access to Staq. We recommend exporting any important decks before offboarding.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of Staq after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.

12. Contact

If you have questions about these Terms of Service, please contact the Zluri engineering or IT team through internal channels.
